In mold coating for integral skin foam
Adhesive and coating systems
In polyurethane foams, one method to combat weak and poor-quality foam skins is the use of coatings within molds. Initially, this product is a low-viscosity liquid that is sprayed into the mold before the materials are injected. It is often used to reduce or eliminate surface defects, improve overall appearance, color, UV stability, and product durability in a simple and cost-effective process. This coating effectively prevents foam yellowing and improves surface abrasion resistance, primarily used in the automotive industry.
